I met Sayeed in March 2021 as we navigated our Senior Executive MBA’s together, at Melbourne Business School. An incredibly polite and courteous man was my first impression, and yet there was so much more to discover. He is incredibly passionate about his community and committed to his faith while being respectful of others beliefs. We worked together against some tough timelines and shared personal experiences and memories like old friends. I fondly recall his generosity of spirit as he shared important faith days with his classmates in a kind and generous way, that only Sayeed could have delivered. I remain amazed by his capacity to open his heart and help yet another person or family. While running his business, charity and studying, Sayeed still found time to coordinate the return of some of his community following their tragic death in the White Island volcano explosion in New Zealand. I am proud to call him a friend and could only wish to emulate his achievements. It is no surprise that he now turns his energy to take on yet another challenge. With a head for business, a burning passion for his community and a charitable and selfless nature that keeps on giving, the Wyndham Council and community will find it difficult to elect a more committed leader and representative, and I wish Sayeed every success on this new adventure. Best of luck mate!
